These Terms & Conditions apply to all services offered by Platinum Garden Services (“we”, “us”, “our”). By requesting or accepting a quotation, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Services Provided
We provide garden maintenance and related services as agreed with each customer.
The scope of work is based on the quotation, service request, or on-site assessment.
Any additional tasks not included in the original quote may be charged separately.
2. Quotations
All quotations are estimates based on the information available at the time.
Final pricing may change if the job is larger, more complex, or requires extra labour/materials.
Quotes are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise.
3. Payments
Payment is due on the same day the service is completed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For ongoing monthly services, payment is due on or before the agreed monthly date.
Late payments may result in services being paused until the account is settled.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Please notify us at least 24 hours before a scheduled visit to cancel or reschedule.
Same-day cancellations may be billed at 50% of the service fee to cover labour and travel costs.
Severe weather or unsafe conditions may require us to reschedule for safety reasons.
5. Access to Property
The customer is responsible for:
Allowing safe and timely access to the property
Ensuring pets are secured
Removing items that may interfere with the work
If access is not possible when we arrive, a call-out fee may apply.
6. Safety and Property Protection
We take reasonable care when working on your property.
However, we are not liable for:
Pre-existing damage
Wear and tear
Items left in the garden that may be damaged by machinery
Damage caused by unsafe conditions that were not disclosed
Customers must inform us of hazards such as irrigation pipes, electrical cables, uneven ground, or hidden obstacles.
7. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate information about your garden and requirements
Keep children and pets away from work areas
Not request work that is unsafe or outside our service capability
Inform us of any allergies, chemicals, or sensitive plants/areas
8. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by South African law:
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service in question
We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, supply shortages, or factors beyond our control
9. Use of Personal Information (POPIA)
We collect only the information needed to:
Respond to enquiries
Provide quotations
Deliver services
Communicate with customers
We do not sell or share your information with third-party marketers.
